On Tuesday, Villa will be looking to extend their 100% league record at Bramall Lane as they take on Sheffield United.
Once again, to get the lowdown on the Blades, I’ve asked long time United fan Rob (@scholarrob).

Are you happy with the business United have done in this window?

Very happy, we have a limited budget but used it wisely to bring in three players. Chris Wilder has been after players with pedigree, for example James Wilson on loan from Man United, has had a tough time with injuries but could be a real bonus.

If you could, which past Sheffield United player would you bring into the starting XI?

Brian Deane, without a doubt. Deano is the best centre forward I’ve seen in 50 years following the Blades.

How confident are you that United can get into the play-offs?

I think we have a very good squad of players with two good players for  every position, so I wouldn’t discount us, but It would still be a real achievement if we made the play offs.

Was the 2-2 draw between the two sides in December a good point or two dropped?

Having been 2-0 down it has to be seen as a good point we gained at Villa. It was a good performance that once again showed that we are a match for any team in the league.

Last time I asked you where Villa would finish in the table, you said 5th or 6th, has Villa’s recent good form swayed your opinion?

I still think Villa will finish in the play off positions. Derby are catchable but I have a feeling Fulham will be strong in the second half of the season.

Score prediction for Tuesday?

I think it will be a draw again on Tuesday. 1-1 this time.
